Global Design Project #GDP272 Challenge

In Global Design Project by Emma Goddard2 Comments

Happy Monday! Today the Global Design Project are sharing a two week challenge.

We are CASE-ing the fabulous Kerstin Kreis. If you are ever looking for some inspiration for your projects and cards, challenges are such a great place to start with a spark of colour, theme or layout to get you started. We’d love you to share your creation too! You can do this by using the hashtag #GDP272 or share a link to your card on the Global Design Project Blog.

I loved Kerstin’s card and the blended colours and wanted to include this on my card. I have used the gorgeous Butterfly Beauty Thinlits. I have blended the butterfly piece with Highland Heather and Mint Macaron.

Once blended I have added a touch of Versamark to the edges of the butterflies and added some Heat and Stick Powder (pg 32). I have then used the Heat Tool to melt the powder and it makes it into a glue for the Gilded Leafing (pg 32) to attached onto.

The Gilded Leafing is a sneak peek product from the upcoming Jan to June Catalogue and will be available from 5th Jan 2021. I just love how shiny the gold is.

I have added this onto the Whisper White panel and tied around the Gold Twine from the Forever Greenery Ribbon Combo. Once the twine was added I have put this on to a Highland Heather cardbase.

The sentiment is also a sneak peek and one of my top picks from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue. It is from the Many Messages Bundle (Pg 35)

Be sure to check out the Global Design Project Blog to see all of the Design Teams projects for even more inspiration!

We would love you to join in with this challenge! If you have a card or project you would like to share inspired by this theme then you can enter you link over on the Global Design Project Blog.
