Welcome to the next Inspire.Create Challenge. This time around we are being inspired by these lovely bright colours, I am a big fan of the bright colours so this challenge was right up my street.
The base of the card is using Bermuda Bay and the card features the Bouquet Blooms Stamp Set. I have kept the background with lots of white to really make those flowers POP! of the card. The wreath has been stamped in the Lemon Lime Twist and cut out with the circle framelits, I have added this to the card with dimentionals.
I have stamped out the main image and the smaller flowers a few times onto Shimmery White cardstock and white embossed them, this has then enabled them to be coloured with the inks and an Aqua Painter. The leaves where stamped straight out on to Whisper white cardstock in the Lemon Lime Twist. All the the flowers have been fussy cut out. This set does come with some coordinating dies and a really fun die to make a gatefold card, but I wanted to cut the flowers away from the main image to layer them up even more.
The gold cord is one of my favourite embellishments and is perfect for all year round crafting but can’t wait to use it on my Christmas projects and tags. The sentiment is from a different set (Perennial Birthday) but a perfect fit with the flowers. I have completed the card with some rhinestones for some extra sparkle.
