Welcome to Inspire.Create challenge #005

For this challenge we are working from the sketch below, which means anything goes in way of stamp set and colour choices, so I am looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. If you haven’t ever joined in a challenge we would love to have you come on over and share your creations with us at Inspire.Create challenges . You have the chance to be selected as a winner and have a badge to display on your own blog or share on social media.

For this challenge I have created a card with coordinating envelope, and I have used the Tags & Trimmings stamp set, which coordinate with the Trim your Stocking dies. This set of dies will cut out the holly and buttons but if you didn’t have this set you hand cut out the holly to get this same effect.

The red glimmer has been punched out using the 2-1/4″ circle punch and the top layer has been stamped with the sentiment in versa mark and used Gold Embossing powder, and punched out with 2″ circle.

This card card base is bigger than any of the pre made Stampin’ Up! envelopes, but this doesn’t matter, because with the Envelope Punch board you can create any size and share of envelope to coordinate! The card base is 10cm x 21cm, so you will only get one card out of an A4 sheet but the extra card stock left over would be perfect for a coordinating tag or layers for other cards. To finished the card off, I have added a few additional rhinestones for a touch of sparkle!

The envelope was made from a coordinating piece of designer series paper (DSP) 25.1cm x 25.1cm. The envelope scored board comes with the instructions and measurements for a lot of different size cards!

Thank you for stopping by.
