Hi,
This evening I am sharing with you my entry to the TGIF Challenge #tgifc163. I love following along with all the amazing inspiration from this challenge and keep meaning to play along, so this week I decided to multi task and create this card during my weekly FB live.
My order of new stamps has not long arrived and I couldn’t wait to play with the gorgeous flower! This is from a new set called Healing Hugs. Not only is the set new but it a new style of Distinktive stamps, it gives you all this amazing depth and shading with only one stamp of the image – how cool??
I have randomly stamped the leaves on the background in Grey Granite, they were all stamped off first to give this lighter colour.
I have then stamped on the Rich Razzleberry cardstock with Rich Razzleberry Ink just to add some texture with the x-stiching looking stamp. I stamped out the flower in Razzleberry and the leaves in Old Olive and hand cut them to add then to the side of the banner.
I was having so much fun during my FB live I decided to share the same card but in a different colour way and this time I when for Pumpkin Pie as the main colour. The flower was firstly inked in Pineapple Punch (LOVE this yellow!!!) and then used the sponge dauber to add on the Pumpkin Pie to achieve the different colours. The leaves for this card were stamped in Grammy Apple Green for a brighter colour, and changed up the linen thread for the white twine.
If you would like to catch the FB live on reply you can check it out HERE (Sunday 10th June – Healing Hugs)
