Welcome to this months Stampin’ Creative blog hop where we are case-ing our very special guest Lyssa Zwolanek. Lyssa joins us from Song of my Heart Stampers, a warm welcome!
As well as welcoming Lyssa for this month, you may have also joined me from a familiar face and blog, the fabulous Kim Fee. Kim is a returning designer to the Stampin’ Creative hop and so excited to have her back on board, welcome back! :)
This month we were set the challenge to CASE Lyssa which meant having a search through her previous makes over on her blog and picking a design to Copy And Selectively Edit (or Copy And Share Everything). The acronym CASE can often have a few variations of the meaning but essentially its to take a design, layout, colour or some aspect from a card made my someone else and put your own twist on it.
CASE-ing is such a compliment to the original designer, but if you are CASE-ing others then its always etiquette give a shout out to the place or person where you were inspired from, plus its a great way to connect with others.
So on to today’s card, as soon as I came across this card on Lyssa’s blog I knew I wanted to have a play, and can’t wait to see what everyone including Lyssa has come up with when CASE-ing her work.
I love the colours the background and the layering, my creation is very similar to Lyssa’s card but I have used the new Painted harvest with the added texture of the burlap ribbon.
I have also made a little coordinating pillow box, using the Trim your Stocking dies. The pillow box made up its approx 4″ x 2.5″, the perfect size for some little chocolates or sweets.
I am now sending you on over to the amazing Mikaela who I know will have treat in store for you.
