Welcome back to our second Stampin’ Creative blog hop.
This month was a card sketch challenge, which I have a lovely evening of creating my cards. I think I shall be using sketches more when I am looking for ideas for my makes. This is the sketch and I used the fab Sale-a-bration designer series paper (Best Year Ever) for my colour inspiration.
So onto the cards…
This first card is using crushed curry card base. The paper and button is from the fabulous Sale-a-bration products you can earn for free when you spend £45 on product. I have stamped the Balloon Bash ‘HB’ in Calypso Coral and the used one of the Fun Frames to emboss the image and have hand cut this frame. The celebrate banner is also from the Balloon Bash set and I have hand cut this to be able to layer the two images together.
This card is using a Soft Suede card base, again using some of the ‘Best Year Ever’ DSP and the matching ribbon from the SAB accessory pack. The banner has been stamped and hand cut from the Balloon Bash set and layered this over the beautiful ‘Regarding Dahlias’ (also hand cut). The butterfly accents are from ‘Papillion Potpourri’ stamped with Coastal Cabana on whisper white and matching card stock, and these have all been punched out.
My final card is using the Kraft Cardstock as the card base and some of the layers, combined with the SAB papers. Page 192 of the main catalogue.
Hope you have enjoyed my cards and thanks for stopping by – Emma
