Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – March

Hello and welcome back to another Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop

I am not exactly sure where March has gone??…… and we are now heading into the school 2 week Easter Holidays, which means doing lots of fun stuff with my little man so I am excited for my time off during the next fortnight.

So on with today’s makes… the theme for this months hop was ‘Masks or Masking’ I do love using the mask but my cards have been made using the masking technique and some post-it notes :)

I stamped the image on the post it note and cut round the image and then stamped the first image on the card, I then masked the first image with the post it note and stamped the second over the top as if the robot was standing behind the first one and then continued this to create my row of 4 cute robots.

I coloured them in using the blender pens and the Smoky Slate ink and then added the balloons form Birthday Bash in the same was cutting the balloon out from the post it note and masking.

The second card was inspired and cased from Kim Fee’s recent masculine cards, which are fabulous!

I have punched out circle form the post it note and stuck this in the centre of my card front, and then randomly stamped the boys will be boys images in real red. The ‘For You’ sentiment is from Chalk Talk.

  4. Oh now you’ve done it …. I’ve been trying desperately to not buy any more new Stamp Sets and I think you’ve just sold it to me. What a great, fun use of this image. I know for sure our son would just love this card and what little boy wouldn’t. Love it …. x

  5. Great cards Emma, perfect for little boys. Wish I has this stamp set now, especially as have my nephews 4th birthday next week! X

  6. Love those robots!!! What a fun, fab idea – I’ve seen them in the catalogue and thought umm what would I do with those – now I know! Really fun and great for kids cards – fab!
