Welcome to Party Central over at this month’s Stampin’ Creative Hop! I cannot wait to hop on round to see what everyone has come up with. I love to see what everyone take on a theme is. Plus this month you have all of the Stampin’ Creative team sharing ideas and inspiration but two fabulous guest designers joining us this month…Welcome to both Kayla and Joanne :)
So for my card this month I wanted to use some bright and fresh summer party colours, however my party has ended up with a pile of washing up…LOL! I had this idea of stacking the tea cups since before I purchased this set so was really keen to give this a go. I think this will be the birthday perfect card for my tea/coffee loving friends or for a tea party invite.
The background has been coloured using the sponge brayer (on to watercolour paper) with So Saffron, Petal Pink and Calypso Coral and then spritzed with water to get the droplet look.
I stamped the tea cups (from the Time for Tea Stamp Set) on Whisper White with Memento Ink and coloured with the Blends (Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light and Dark Calypso Coral) I have stamped out the image 8 times and cut the saucers and layers four of these together.
Ps Side note……….***The blends are back in STOCK***….Whoop Whoop!!
I have then cut out 4 separate cups and stacked them by cutting (with a craft knife) the front of the cup and sliding the cup inside the one before.
The basic Black layer is 9.5 x 11.5cm and the watercolour cardstock layer is 9 x 11cm. I have stamped the Happy Birthday from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set in Versamark on Basic Black cardstock and embossed in White to really make this pop.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend, whatever you may be up to & I’ll be back soon.
Be sure to hop on round all the ladies for plenty of Party ideas – Enjoy! and thank you as always for stopping by
