Time for Tea

Hello & Happy Monday!

So here in the UK we are having the most amazing weather! Paddling Pools and ice pops are go!! Joshua is on an inset day from school so we are just taking some time this afternoon to come in and grab some shade and have a little chill time, so I thought I would take the chance to post up my cards from yesterday evenings FB live.

I used these Memories and More cards at my summer all day craft event & still had plenty left over so thought I would use them as a base to a few cards. Stampin’ Up! have started offering white card blanks to fit both the large and the small Memories and More cards which makes using these for cards so quick and simple!!

The Memories and More cards packs are such great value for money, at only £9.95 for all of this…
* 50 double-sided cards in 3″ x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm) and 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) sizes
* 6 single-sided copper foil specialty cards in 3″ x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm) and 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) sizes
* 4 sticker sheets.

The card base for this one is cut in Coastal Cabana (15.8cm x 21.5) and scored in half. For the envelopes, I have used one from the Memories & More cards and envelope packs. I have stamped the tea cups out on to the Bright DSP stack, onto both Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay and then both fussy cut and used the die. You can cut them out with the dies first to make the hole for the handles and then trim off the saucer – which would be the easier option. However, if you watch my FB live, I didn’t make life that simple for myself – but I’m blaming the heat LOL!

I have then threaded them on to the white twine and held them in position with some small dimentionals. The sentiment is from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set.

This sentiment is also from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set. I have stamped out 8 cups and saucers and then colours four of the saucers and fours of the cups using the blends in Pool Party and Bermuda Bay.

If you like to see how I have stacked the cups and saucers you can check out the replay HERE – ‘Sunday 1st – Time for Tea’

So that is all from me today, I’m back off out to enjoy the weather and more pool time. Thanks for stopping by.
