Hello and welcome. Hopefully you have found your way here via the lovely Joanne Penney’s blog, but in case you have got a little lost I have added the full list of everyone taking part below.. So why not grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy your hop around everyone’s blog.
Both my cards I am sharing today have been made using the NEW stamp set So Very Grateful. This has been stamped using Staz-On Ink onto watercolour paper. The watercolour paper allows for easier colouring and movement of the ink without the paper going ‘fluffy’. I have coloured this image using a blender pen with Basic Gray Ink adding more or less ink to create the shading.
The sentiment ‘hi’ is from Regarding Dahlias stamp set with a little added sparkle.
My Tea Lace Paper Doily has been coloured also using the Staz-On ink pad – normally I would used a brayer to colour doilies for even coverage, however I decided to try just applying directly and it worked really well. The card base is Very Vanilla and this is layered with Basic Black and the always lovely Modern Medley DSP
The second card I have made for you today is a Soft Suede base with Very Vanilla. This NEW Designer Series Paper (DSP) is called Retro Fresh. I stamped the flowers from So Very Grateful directly on to the Vanilla card and a second time on to the DSP. this was then cut out and layered onto the card image. The cute little mini peg is from the useful Tag a Bag Accessory Kit.
Also just to say I am LOVING this new Ribbon!! (Natural 5/8″ (1.6cm) Chevron Ribbon) I have a feeling it will be making many appearances on my upcoming cards and projects….
