Stampin’ Up! Corporate Blog Post – Easter Promise

In Stampin' Up! by Emma Goddard2 Comments

Hello, everyone! Today I am sharing with you the beautiful Easter Promise Stamp Set (#151554). I absolutely adore any flowers, but fresh spring flowers are my absolute favourite.

For this first card I have taken the Crocus stamp and randomly stamped this around the edge of the card using Memento Ink (#132708) and coloured them in with the So Saffron Blend Combo (#149557), Old Olive Light Blend (#144574) and the Pool Party Light Blend (#144595) around the edge of each flower

The gingham paper is from the Subtles 6×6 (15.2 x15.2cm) Designer Series Paper (#149615) to coordinate with the So Saffron on the flowers. The sentiment has been stamped in Memento, cut out and layered on top of the die from the Painted Labels Dies (#151605).

To complete this card, I have added a bow using both the Daffodil Delight ¼” (6.4mm) Ruched Ribbon (#151311) and the Solid Whisper White Baker’s Twine (#124262)

For this next card I have kept the layout really clean and simple. I love the simplicity of the gorgeous Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503) for the background.

I have stamped out the Crocus image twice, and the ‘Happy Easter’ sentiment all using in Memento Ink. These have then all been cut out using Paper Snips (#103579) and then layered on to the bottom right hand corner using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430)

To complete the card and add a little sparkle I have added some splatters of the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (#147004)

For my final card I have also used some of the Subtles 6×6 (15.2 x15.2cm) Designer Series Paper (4cm or 1 ½” wide, across the full length of your card). Each panel is 4.2cm x 9.2cm with the panel for the stamped imaged being cut slightly smaller at 3.8cm x 8.8cm

The images are then randomly stamped over each of the smaller panels and coloured in So Saffron Blend Combo (#149557), Old Olive Light Blend (#144574), Rococo Rose Combo (#149572), Highland Heather Combo (#147276) and the Pool Party Light Blend (#144595) used around the edge of all of the images to add some depth.

To complete this card, I have added the sentiment and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220)

I absolutely loved sharing these cards with you and hope I have inspired you to create some spring cards to send #makeacardsendacard
