Good Evening,
WOW! What a busy time of year, my not so little man will be finishing his first year of Primary School and so we are currently on the count down to the Summer Hols.
It was J’s Sports Day today and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day – it was so HOT! One more school trip to the beach and the teacher gifts and cards to sort and we’re are nearly there – phew.
I have always enjoyed scrapbooking but each page often takes a long time to arrange the layout and decide on the different embellishments to add, I still enjoy doing the bigger pages but since the launch of Project Life I have already put together 8 pages…. and on more and more occasions I find myself thinking “that will make a good page” and I’m enjoying the every day pages …I can’t wait to make up the pages of J’s Sports Day, so I have the Playground Project Life Cards and accessories are on my list, and I’ll make sure post some of the pages once they are done.
The first card was using the Moonlight DSP mounted with Blackberry Bliss card stock with one of the new fun frames. The middle of this has been stamped with the leaves from Kinda Eclectic in Crumb Cake ink and the little flowers were punched from coordinating card stock using the new Itty Bitty Accent punches (my new fave – these flowers are going on everything!) with a bit of bling in the middle of the little flowers.
The second card was stamped in Versamark and embossed in white powder. It was then painted in whisper white (allow to dry) and then over painted with Razzleberry ink.
The third card was using the stencils from the Dots and Stripes pack, which are great value at only £2.75 for two.
The Blended Bloom was stamped on the Moonlight DSP and layered onto Lost Lagoon card stock. The base of the card was embossed using the Decorative Dots folder too give the base texture.
The sentiments on the two cards are from the Tag Talk set and has a coordinating punch.
