This week on my live I created a card with the Wildflower Designs, which can be found on page 41 of the Annual Catalogue, this suite has paper that is more muted colours which have more of an autumn feel to them. This week I created two cards on my live and as always, if you missed these cards being created live, you can catch the replay anytime.
I took the colour inspiration from the patterned paper in this suite. If you are ever stuck for colour combinations when creating cards or projects, then the designer papers are such a great starting point for colour combinations.
Card 1 was created with the Misty Moonlight designer paper, and a handful of stamped flowers. The flowers were all stamped in Staz-On Ink onto watercolour cardstock so they could then be painted with the coordinating inks.
The background was stamped with the largest flower image in Misty Moonlight Ink, coordinating with the paper to create a tone on tone effect.

The Wild Wheat water coloured background was the starting point for this card. I firstly added water the the background and then added on some Wild Wheat Ink. Once completely dry I then stamped over some of the background image from the Of Art & Texture Stamp Set [162687] in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Powder.
I stamped out multiples of the small flower image in Versamark onto Watercolour cardstock and heat embossed these in Gold too. Once embossed, I then coloured with a combination of Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat and Moody Mauve Inks.
This bundle has coordinating dies, so each of the flowers were die cut out, ready to be layered onto the card front.
The ribbon is a combination of the Gold Ribbon and the NEW Wild Wheat Ribbon, which will be available from the 4th Sept 2024. I cut both of the ribbons in half down the length of the ribbon to make them both thinner and tied a piece of each together in a bow.
Both cards were completed with the Shiny Metallic Gems.
