Hello and welcome to our March Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop, I’m so excited to share the Geared Up Garage suite with you! I just love all the bright colours, so have changed it up a little by combining the grey, black and silvers from this suite with some of our gorgeous bright colours.
This is the combo I have used for my projects I am sharing today…
For the splatters on the background I have mixed the Lemon Lime Twist with the Frost White Shimmer paint and tapped this over the background of the card. The cogs have been cut out of the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and rubbed the versamark pad over the edges to add the texture with the Silver Embossing Powder.
Don’t you just love these Classic Garage Metal Elements?! So cute!! I think this card would made the perfect card for passing a driving test or just a teenager birthday card.
For my final card I have used the Classic Garage Designer Paper as the background to the card – I just love this grey mottled effect. the same technique has been used on this card too, I have dabbed the versamark on the edges of the gears and then added some silver embossing powder. The motor bike is also from this set of designer papers and would give you plenty to add to your cards and projects.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am now sending you on over to the amazing Jackie Aitken. Be sure to hop on around to all of the Artisan Design Team and say hello – we would love to hear from you – Enjoy! and hope you are feeling inspired by all the Geared Up Garage inspiration.

These are fabulous Emma. Male, Female, you’ve created something totally unisex from what could be deemed a totally masculine suite. Fabulous work xx

Thank you sweet Sylvia, the embossing on the edge of those cogs was so much fun I added it to every card ;) lol but love the texture it adds :)

These are so terrific–love that you chose bright colors to go with this set. The splatter effect and the embossing on the gears are really great details.
I did the same effect with Silver Wink of Stella I got on Amazon.com. I colored Black cardstock with the glitter pen, let dry and die cut my gears! I love the way they look! I lobe all of your cards as well!
Fantastic Emma! I like the bright colors chosen and the texture work on the gears! Nice volume and very beautiful achievements! Great! xX
Love your cards Emma, the colours you’ve chosen look stunning especially teamed up with the silver x
