Fine Art Floral Video Tutorial

Today I am sharing this card with some alternative colours to the designer papers in this Fine Art Floral Suite.

I have used a Night of Navy background and stamped the leaf image around the outside. Once stamped, I have then blending some extra Night of Navy Ink to add some extra depth and shades to the background.

The flowers were stamped in Magenta Madness, Sahara Sand and Cinnamon Cider. To achieve the different tones of the same colour I have stamped off for the larger image first and them stamped with full strength of the ink on the top layer.

The middles of the flowers were created by dotting the Basic Black blends into the centre of the flowers.

To finish off the flowers I have added some of there beautiful Gilded Leafing. I have used a Blender Pen to apply some versamark ink exactly were I would like the Gilded Leafing to go. The next step is to add the Heat and Stick powder (and heat with a Heat Tool) which turns the powder sticky. I have then placed the Gilding over the top and brushed it with a dry paint brush to apply. This gives such a shine gold effect and is so very pretty!! If you haven’t given this gilding a go, I can high recommend it and you’ll just love the beautiful the effect it creates!

Thank you Zahra, hopefully the tip will help with the placement of the Gilded Leafing and can also be used with embossing powders too :)
