From Land to Sea with a twist!

In Stampin' Up! by Emma Goddard2 Comments

Hello,

Today I am sharing 4 cards from a class I ran this month using Seaside Shore and From Land to Sea. The first card was inspired and CASE’d from the very talented Louise Sharp (You can see her card here)

This card is using From Land to Sea, and the sentiment is from Seaside Shore. The colour combo is Dapper Denim and Very Vanilla,  have stamped the Lighthouse in Archival Black and the used the Dapper Denim ink with a blender pen to colour. I love the bold strips on this paper and this this would make a great masculine card.

Next up is this fishy make, and the inspiration – as you can see was the designer paper. I have used Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, & Dapper Denim. The sentiment has been stamped using the coordinating markers to be able to get the mix of colours on the same stamp.

I love this jelly fish!

The final card was using the very lovely turtle, and for him (or her) I have used the rock and roll technique. For this I have stamped in the Mint Macaron first and then rolled the edges onto the Soft Suede ink – and if you are not sure what I mean this has been demonstrated in the video below.

So the title of this blog post was From Land to Sea with a twist, well the twist is this little video. My son is just 6 years old and LOVES You Tube! He has been telling me for ages I need to make more videos as I don’t have enough on my channel and if I don’t do more I wont get any subscribers! This is very true but its not that easy to find the time for the filming and editing with family life and a day job, however I have been working on my #6monthsstampingoals and one of these was to make more You Tube videos. So for my blog hop yesterday I made a video and when he saw me making this he wanted in on the action!

He has been asking and asking …..and asking! to make a You Tube video for ages, so when he asked if he could feature on my channel and make a card I couldn’t resist his cuteness! So this is Joshua (with a little help from me) making the turtle card.

A massive thank you to everyone who has subscribed to my Blog or You Tube channel, your support and following is really appreciated! I love hearing from you, so if you have time please leave you comments or any questions you may have.
