Welcome to this weeks Inspire.Create Challenge and this time around we are being inspired by a bright colour combo.
I love this colour combination so was feeling excited to grab those ink pads and a stamp set and start creating.
I had previously been creating with Southern Serenade so had this stamp set ready to go on my desk. The lace stamp makes such a delicate background, I have previously stamped this in more muted coloured such as pale pinks and pale browns but loved the look this gave in daffodil delight.
Once the background was stamped I have then added the Organza Ribbon (pg 23) a touch of the myths and magic washi tape and then a wrap around of the Silver Bakers Twine (pg 13) across the centre of the card.
The flowers have been stamped in archival black and coloured with the Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Old Olive watercolour pencils. The achieve a softer/smoother look I have then blended this out with a Blender Pen.
These have been fussy cut and layered, the Bermuda Bay version is the complete flower, however I have channelled my inner florist! & trimmed a few leaves (which is also what I do to ‘arrange’ flowers in real life lol) from the pink layer before adding this to the top.
The word ‘Hugs’ is from these Lovely Word Thinlits, which has been cut in silver foil.
I have then added a few Glitter Epoxy shapes and Tutti Frutti sequins to add a touch of sparkle and it was complete.
Thanks for stopping by
