Trip Achievers – Jan 2022

This was the first inking up of the Driving By Stamp Set & I had so much fun creating these projects! Today I am joining the Trip Achievers for the Jan 2022 Blog Hop, so you will be able to follow the links at the end of my post to see lots more inspiration from around the world.

I have paired up Timeless Tropical Stamp Set with the Driving By Stamp Set available with a £45 purchase during Sale-A-Bration

These cool Camper Vans have been coloured in Smokey Slate, Basic Black, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Calypso Coral Blends. Once coloured, they have all been cut out ready to layer on to the card and add to the frame.

The Palm trees have been coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers. Stampin’ Write Markers are water-based and allow you to add colour to different parts of a stamp – This is how I have been able to stamp in both Soft Suede and Old Olive on the same image!

Card Measurements

• Pool Party Card Base = 8 1/4″ x 7″ – Scored at 7″
• Fluid 100 Cardstock = 8″ x 3 1/4″

The background on the card has been made with a watercolour wash of Pool Party Ink. I have firstly drawn a rectangle with the largest brush and water, and then added the Pool Party Ink on to this water. If you’d like to see this being painted, then there is a link you can follow to watch these projects being made towards the end of my post.

The birds in to top right hand corner of the frame are from the Sailing Home Stamp Set.
