Welcome to the first of the Western Carribean Achievers Blog Hop! Sadly, due to the current global pandemic, this trip will not be going ahead, however I can not THANK each and everyone of you who have supported me in so many ways enough! You are all amazing!!
We are a group of Stampin’ Up! ® demonstrators who have earned the Western Caribbean Incentive Trip. This would have potentially been my second inventive trip, my first one I earned was Maui in 2019, and should have taken place in 2020. So, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to take time to share a HUGE shout out to my fabulous friend and upline Kim Fee who ‘paid forward’ her Maui necklace as a memento of this occasion. Words can’t express how much this very kind a thoughtful gesture meant to me & shall be a treasured memento!
One day I hope to meet all of the fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world on a future incentive trip, but for now I get the chance to share our creativity together as a part of this monthly blog hop for the year ahead!
Shadow Box Card
Today I am sharing this fun fold which was shared with me during a team mystery stamp event. It was great fun trying to figure out how this would come together when you haven’t seen a finish card before you start making it! I just love how this could work with so many different stamp sets.
To create the main base, I have scored a piece of Cardstock 28cm x 10.5cm as per the diagram below. Each of the edges roll into a square, to create the two pillars. Once these are in place, you add on the front two pieces. These measure 12cm x 1cm and 12cm x 2cm, and they simply sits over the top of the two squares.
This will fold flat into a standard size envelope.
I have decorated with the Peaceful Place Designer Papers and Peaceful Cabin Bundle. The icicles die cut in the background of the middle section is from the Polar Bear Dies & the sentiment is from the Many Messages Stamp Set.
